Residential Conveyancer
Silks Solicitors are looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their well-established team and take control of a full caseload of residential property transactions. You will be joining a very capable, experienced team who take a high level of pride in the quality of their work. The successful Residential Conveyancing Fee-earner will be dealing with all types of domestic property sale and purchase matters.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in handling their own caseload of residential property transactions and be versed in most aspects of residential property issues. Silks is proud to be CQS accredited and so the full team is expected to complete the training as required.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Private Client Legal Assistant
Our established, successful and busy private client team are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant to join their friendly, quality-driven team.
Supporting a team of four fee-earners, you will have at least two years experience of working in a similar role, taking responsibility for document creation and file administration under the supervision of the Head of Department. You must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of legal administration processes and be able to work efficiently with a case management system.

Employment Lawyer
Part-time or full-time
Are you a driven employment solicitor with at least three years employment law experience looking to undertake a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment work? This is a great opportunity to build on an existing client base and develop the department under your direction.
You can expect to work on complex contentious employee matters, providing advice to clients on a range of matters from redundancy to unfair dismissal, supporting through to attending tribunal hearings. You’ll also provide advice on non-contentious employment matters to employers, from drafting employment contracts to advising on how legislation applies to their companies and situations.
To apply for the role you should have:
- At least three years employment law experience both contentious and non-contentious
- A strong academic background
- Sound technical knowledge and drafting skills
- Willingness to effectively market the department
